Magento

Hi!
How can I install ‘MAGENTO’ on Windows XP 2002 , SP2. I have installed WAMP SERVER.

And when I try to open magento, it gives me ‘500 Internal server error’.

I have found a link for installation on WAMP SERVER.  After making changes, in WAMP SERVER settings , now I am getting error ‘HTTP 400 Bad Request’ .

It DID help me, for sure!

It does help too, I guess, that my 1-year-old laptop
( Core2duo, Intel T7200, 2GHz, 4Mb cache, 2Gb 667MHz DDR2RAM, 8Mb buffer 7200rpm SATA HDrv )
has enough hardware, even if in such a small box, to be able to handle enough decently
the whole setup & running of XAMPP AND all the Magento requirements.

Thus, following your suggested Wiki’s instructions, everything went

That wiki entry is no longer there.  Can anyone else elaborate on how to install magento with WAMP?

the wiki is messed up..half of the tags don’t even have any articles attached to them?
