It’s such a simple sales tool that many businesses use. Most customers consider List Price to be the regular price of an item. By displaying it, along with Our Price, we create the illusion of an enormous discount. Displaying the List and Our prices in the catalogue and product pages would be fantastic. Much like what Musician’s Friend does:
Having the option to enable the display of a list price and a field to enter one, while creating a new product or modifying one, would be much appreciated.
Any chance we could get some specific direction? I have made the attribute, but it gets a little foggy once you get into the template area. This would be greatly appreciated.
Hi Roy - the problem with your solution (i tried to do this myself awhile ago) is that that attribute is only applied to simple products - so there is no way to put it in a configrable product - or is there?
