That would be very useful if Magento kept in mind display preferences, from Backend. With a turn on option in configuration.
Example :
Sales / Orders, you set “View 100 per page”, because you would like to see more oders in one time. Or you sort them by Status.
When you refresh, or reconnect to Magento, the display configuration is by default again.
