Multiple Fed Ex Shipping rates?

I have a client whose products ship from two different warehouses, one on each side of the country. She has FedEx shipping from both, but they are separate FedEx accounts with different rates.

Ideally what I’d like to do is enter each FedEx account as a separate shipping option and let the customer select which they prefer, based on the shipping rates quoted from each account. Unfortunately, Magento only allows for one set of info for the FedEx shipping method.

I’ve tried searching extensions and such with no luck. Does anyone have an idea if this is feasible, or have another approach they’d recommend? Any info is much appreciated!

Does anyone at least know where the FedEx shipping module info is? Perhaps I could duplicate it as a second shipping module?

I’ve found nothing on this. My client tried to utilize table rates, but they were much too complicated and varying to set up usefully. At this point I may have to try to copy the FedEx shipping module and see if I can integrate it as a second, separate module so that they can function side-by-side.

Of course, as the shipping origination point is set in the general Shipping Settings, not in the shipping method’s settings, I will have to find a way to override the default origination zip code for the new module as well.

Same problem here.

My factory is located in Canada, my main point of origin for all shipments with FedEx. I can get everything to work perfectly so far…

...except that I also have a second US account for Ground shipments with a US address as origin.

Can we find any specialist that can program a special FedEx module for us?

I would bet that my FedEx rep would be willing to pay for such a module if it could include all features we all need.
