Magento

Hi,

I have successfully imported about 80 products via an xml spreadsheet to include images.  The products and images display perfectly on the front end; however when I log in as admin in the backend and look at a product, the product short and lond descriptions are not there and thus when I try to modify the product, it tells me that those two fields are required and will not allow me to save.  Again, all of the short and long descriptions are shown on the front end though.

Any ideas?
