hello all.
mad props to magento for forging a great solution and for the team’s openess by building a community i am proud to call myself a part of. i have been watching the evolution of the app and community for months now and am quite impressed thusfar.
i am almost done tweaking my 1st shop and have gone slowly but surely in the customization but i have ran into an issue with the catalog’s category pages.
the add to cart button on the category pages are not working and are not taking customers to checkout.
they are present but error out. “Can’t find variable: setLocation”
in the previous version 0.8x, they worked, now in 1.0 they don’t.
because i assume most customers will want to click further to get more information about the new product, i dont think the buttons there are super necessary but would like to keep that functionality especially for the return customers.
i found the post re: the removing of the button altogether from the category page by modifying the list.phtml but after following those instructions, it disables the rendering of the page with all sorts of errors.
the 1.0 version >>
the 0.8x >>
any ideas, help or suggestions would be greatly and most humbly appreciated.
