HI,

I just started working with Magento and after setting up the system and working on a frist theme, I’m now trying to organize the shops structure and it’s categories.

There are several products in my catalog that come along in two different versions (left handle/right handle) and I’m searching for the best way to represent this option. I would prefer to have a product view with two radio boxes witch can be used to select either the left or the right hand model of the specific product. Prices and product descriptions are the same, so there’s no need to create two individual product items.

Can I solve this issue with attributes and configurable products and is there a detailed explanation of different product types available?

Any help or guidance is much appreciated.
