Hi,

Are there any instructions on installing Magento on Windows and IIS, I have installed many PHP applications on my Windows/ IIS system and they work great so I only need the important bits.

1. I have unpacked the Full download zip and put in a folder under a web called magento and created a vertual directory
2. I have given iUSER Write permissions to the directory

I have tried to run web/magento/index.php but get the error “can not find web page”, but if a run test.php it works?

What am I doing wrong and how do I start to install.

Cheers
Joolz

it’s easy… you need mod_rewrite for IIS and I recomend you to install in root dir… for ex. NOT http://mysite.com/shop/ BUT in http://shop.mysite.com/
there are no more problem, but… when I try to move site from local server(olready configured) to remote and trying “mysite.com/admin” I’m moving to “mysite.com:80\/admin”

“\/” - “slashes” - what is it? %)
