I’d like to mention a website we’ve just launched for a small, independent wipe-easy tablecloth retailer based in the UK. It’s a custom responsive design built on the Magento Community platform, with the aim being to demonstrate the wonderful quality and colour of the tablecloth fabrics - and of course make it easy to order pre-cut sized tablecloths.
Thank you for your comments - we wanted the site to appear as fresh and uplifting as possible, and to show off the images of the products as much as possible. The font is Domine from Google Web Fonts - it’s rapidly becoming one of my ‘go to’ fonts!
A browser fix has been completed for Chrome to fix the checkout product preview.
I’m not able to show any further responsive Magento examples. It does add to the complexity of e-commerce projects, and the extra cost cannot always be justified by our clients. Have you completed any sites in this way yourself?
Responsive ecommerce designs are a lot more complex, especially with Magento! But it’s my view that responsive design is the way forward. Cater for all devices
Likewise, I’m unable to post any responsive Magento examples, as they are still in progress, but will have a couple to show soon.... I have recently finished a responsive site for acresgm.co.uk though - an enquiry website not e-commerce.
