I just installed the store...but, forgot my login name.....how do I retrieve it?  [in my defense, I have not had my coffee this morning}

you should have the “forgot password” link on the admin login page

Yes, I got the password but not the login name...I have no idea what the login name was?  I hate to unistall and reinstall again just for that boo-boo.

@Vegasphotog: run this on your Magento database:

select username from admin_user;
this will give you all the admin user names in your Magento installation.
After that you could reset their password by running this statement:
update admin_user set password=md5('123123'where username='admin';
where ‘admin’ is your username. the password will be 123123

Thanks for the quick reply.....sorry, I am inexperienced with this type of thing.....what do you mean “run this on your ...database”?

The SQL statements he gave you are meant to be sent to the database management software, typically MySQL. He means you should use your normal method of sending commands to your MySQL database. If you don’t understand what a database manager is, or how to communicate with your particular database manager, you may need local assistance to manage your Magento installation.

By default, the admin login is admin, password 123123. Most of this information is in the wiki, by the way.
