I have a production level site now online using Magento.
I believe this program to be very stable, as I have not had one crash since the newest svn. 0.9.17740
balance-your-hormones.com
If you see a solid green colour as the header background, it’s the old website. It’s fancy green lines, it’s magento. I just did the nameserver switch this morning, but it’s showing up for me. I’m with Shaw.

Nice site. Might want to double check your checkout. You have mixed HTTP and HTTPS content which throws up a security error.
In general, we have noticed on ALL Magento sites that the add to cart and checkout pages run extremely slow (in excess of 8 seconds )
Is anyone else seeing this delay as well?

my checkout page isn’t any slower than others.
The error is because of the self-signed security certificate, which I am fixing right now.
thank you very much.

You need to upgrade to ver. 1.0 as this won’t support upgrades and some of the sql queries have been rewritten to speed the process up… Nice site and good luck..

I sped this site up a LOT by combining all my skin’s CSS and JS into single files, also removing old Table frames from the nav and content.
Very fast loading now on everything except adding to cart and checkout.
The certificate issues are also resolved.

I used a search engine spider sim (seen at webconfs.com) on a live Magento store at http://www.balance-your-hormones.com
It does not spider any text or index any links to internal pages.
Any ideas on how this can be?

Interesting site!
Time to load first page: 30 seconds
Time to load a product category: 50 seconds
Time to load a product: 19 seconds
I would definitely look into moving to Magento 1.0.
Cheers!

Donovan,
those speeds are massively larger than anything I have seen. Where are you connecting from, and what is your internet provider and connection speed?
And I know nothing about webconfs.com

It took around 10 seconds to load the home page and similar for adding to cart. I would have thought this unacceptable but not too far out of line with other Magento stores. The spider simulator picked up the links just fine. I did notice that the directory links were missing any trailing ‘/’ .

When you spidered balance-your-hormones.com did you see links to your interior pages listed?
I did not see them.
Spidered Text area was blank as well.
Pls compare to http://www.tcblossomshop.com and you’ll see the differance.
