Is it possible to have a specific stock level in each Store ?

ie :

Store 1 - product 1 =>
Stock level of “product 1” in the store 1 = 200

Store 2 - product 1 =>
Stock level of “product 1” in the store 2 = 180

Hi Khalid - At this time, this is not possible.  Stock levels are global throughout the installation. I’m not sure it makes sense in terms of fulfillment - if it’s the exact same product, how could the stock level be different in different stores?

In my case, a big company ask it.

The company is a group of several stores who sells the same products but each one of these stores has a specific stock.

I have exactly the same problem for one of our customer.

Magento will support 3 different shop with a common catalog. Each of these stores will have a “quota” on the total effective stock.

Do you know how hard would it be to implement a stock level per stor (or per website)?

I think that it is a feature which has all its place in the core of magento !!

I would also love to see this feature, and would move to Magento from CRE Loaded as soon as possible.

This feature is needed for companies that have stores in multiple countries and do mail order in those countries.  In this case, the inventory is done on a country (Magento Store?) basis.

I need this feature too! Different stores with the same products, but different inventory levels!

Any update on this since v1.1 ?
In database, i see 2 tables :
* cataloginventory_stock
* cataloginventory_stock_item
that look like it should be doable…

But i don’t see anything in the admin panel.

I will be more than happy to work on this with a group , as for my situation I have the following :

SELLING PRODUCT IN SEVERAL COUNTRIES , DATABASE PRODUCT REMAIN THE SAME , BUT INVENTORY AND DIFFERENT UNIQUE PRICE FOR EACH STORE or website

I sell in country A with my warehouse country A, then each base price are different from country A to country B .

I think it should not be that difficult to implement as core magento looks ready for it .

i have the same requirement for a project i am working on.  We’d like to use magento for retail inventory stock management in the sense that we have an online inventory for a set of products and would like to monitor and update the stock of the same set over a variety of different stores.  Anyone have any experience doing something like this in magento?  I’d really rather not write my own custom solution for this…

same here, im working with a client who has 14 stores, all carry some stock for local distribution, so it would be good to have stock levels per store.

important feature, i have seen a extension on the list, but haven’t tried it yet, anybody have any experience with this ?

Add another vote for this feature..in my case it’s retail vs. wholesale stock. Since our wholesale orders are made to order and require a longer waiting period for delivery nothing should ever be out of stock. Retail side needs stock options enabled.
