I think this is a flaw of most ecommerce platforms. The simple fact of placing an image stating “NEW” on new items would make the difference when the client is browsing. I mean, the new items already have their own listing but you know that in ecommerce redundancy is your ally.
These tags would be used to classify:
- New products
And in combination with the attributes, it should be possible for the client to be aware in the listing if:
- an item has batteries included or not
- an item is sold in a metal box or in a paper box
These “cons” or “words” should be configurable in name, aspect and time frame (for restocks and new products).
