I am new to Magento. In fact, just today!

One option that I wanted in using ZenCart was to be able to list certain products that were viewable to everyone, but only Purchasable by certain customers.

Any help would be great.

Also, a side note. I am with hostmonster. What is a good, fast host for magento?

Please check the magento connect. It seems that thre is an extension “Customer Groups Catalog”.  Actually I’m not sure

This is really old, but I found a good extensions that allows this.
