there was a blog post about this a while back. MyDeco’s Magento developers were able to create a common cart that let you put different items from different retailers into the same cart and then the backend split up the orders for the individual retailers to process. i would love this functionality, though i imagine it would cost an arm and a leg to develop.
This functionality would be great for you but it is not the one from Mydeco. They have a button which says GO TO SHOP. And they send the client to the affiliate.
Different way of working.

well i was supposed to get a price from needtools for the basic comparison shopping engine module earlier this week but i haven’t heard anything more. it seems like there are enough people interested here to split up the development cost among us.
Check out this… it has your functionality, I’m looking very seriously at running a site with it. x-cart ...cost is likely less than that of development. Its no Magento though :-( Plus a lot of other features that Magento lacks.
if any developer is interested in creating this module, please PM with an estimate of the cost. thanks.

wow needtool, this module could be just what i’m looking for. in particular, i would love to be able to recreate something like the Where to Buy section on this page:
this isn’t quite the same as Amazon Marketplace, but the general idea would be the same (grab multiple prices and display them in one section with calculation of approximate tax and shipping costs and links to the seller’s info).
please keep us posted on the progress of this module.
Hello. That would be great to have Magento as an Amazon store, with futures lake:
-personal account for each sellers
-auto e-mail with notification that order was placed
-track seller’s orders for web site developer.
-to make possible manage percent which will charge from every sellers
Desirable make it for community version.
Thanks for free Magento!
