the most greater part of the styles of magento are found in
boxes.css
included those for that links

for the horizontal menu, the file is
menu.css

Wow, somebody doesn’t know about firebug.  Go get firefox, then install the extension “firebug”.  You can click on any part of a web page and it will tell you all the CSS definitions, what file they’re on, and what line of that file.  It can also do a million other things.  Oh, you can also test changing the CSS directly on the page before you edit the real .css file.

I second that. Firebug is a must have.

It really does make customising Magento a whole lot easier.

I often use it to discover the DIV I need to edit, and then do a search for any files containing the DIV id or class name.
