Hello,

Since I upgraded to 1.3.2.2, paypal IPN don’t work anymore. I don’t have payment notification on magento.

What I did :
- I updated to 1.3.2.2 again
- I delete all cache
- I delete file in var/session and var/cache
- I check my paypal configuration, nothing has change

If anyone has any suggestions on how i can fix this it would be greatly appreciated.

Regards

I just check again and all my paypal orders stay ‘pending paypal payment’ and returns ‘invalid IPN’ statement.

I solved the problem.

I just delete all files in http:www.mysite.com/app/code/core/Mage/Paypal
and replace it by files from 1.3.2.1

It’s working now. However, I think the update is buggy.

HI, we’ve also noticed this for paypal payments..  Strange as 1.3.2.2 was supposed to fix paypal IPN - we didn’t have any problems before but now it has been “fixed” it’s not working..

Does anyone know how to fix it without going back to 1.3.2.1?

Same here… But, I still have a problem with My Downloadable Products.

PayPal ceased to work after upgrading from 1.3.2.1 to 1.3.2.2. You can log into your merchant account and view the IPN history on PayPal.com - There’ll be a message that it is retrying to send the IPN; meaning its a Magento issue.

Took your advice and overwrote the PayPal files with 1.3.2.1. The pending orders had to released by issuing an invoice.

Magento now shows orders as complete and issues an email to the customer announcing the same. The problem is:  all of my client’s products are downloads and Magento has ceased to post orders with the download links in the customer’s My Downloadable Products page. In other words, Magento is issuing orders, but not issuing download links in 1.3.2.2 - even though I overwrite the 1.3.2.1 PayPal files.

That’s not good for business. I am a bit concerned about trying to overwrite the whole site with an older version, but then this upgrade has essentially killed the ability to conduct business.

Mods:  Any suggestions are urgently welcome as this is a live e-commerce site.

Thanks in advance,
-websitebob

But It’s not the best solution. I hope magento team will fix that in the next upgrade.

Only two files were changed: ../controllers/ExpressController.php and ../model/Standard.php

I can now report that changing the two files mentioned in my previous post returned my site to functioning as it had done previously.

I’m not sure if it’s a good move to tag this treed as [Solved] as this definitely is a 1.3.2.2 bug that needs urgent attention from Magento Team and they need to get a fix out rapidly or their reputation surely loose a lot! I just got a inquiry from a customer about her order as she was worried haven’t heard nothing since she placed the order and paid online and this is the reality for any Magento installation running 1.3.2.2 right now using Paypal standard.

There is a bug opened for this issue, although the reported just refer to downloadable products it’s the same issue. http://www.magentocommerce.com/bug-tracking/issue/?issue=6788 Please go there and make your voice heard as this issue have to be solved fast and in my opinion cannot wait until 1.3.3

Yes I think that’s much better and an excellent idea to put the bug issue # in brackets as if it is something we really can do helping the Magento Team it is trying to avoid creating dupes in the bug tracker wink

I don’t know if it’s possible but if that issue # could be made as a click able link as well that would be a step forward towards improved communications. Maybe something to pick up on in case any Magento people happens to pass by…

Fact remains though, this have to be solved rapidly as now for every order an excuse about a failing shop need to be sent out to keep customers happy and prevent mistrust in the business.
