Hi all,

I use the import program to import thousands of products and strangely none of these come up on the search on frontend. Ensured that I am importing these products as Enabled and with some quantity stock. On querying these products in backend and saving them manually, these products come up in the search results.

On closer examination, I observed that the table `catalog_product_website` did not get populated during the import process. Am I missing something during import that prevented me from populating this table??

Thanks!!!

It seems as if the items are not being assigned to your store. In the frontend, check to make sure that the applicable website is activated. Also make sure that Visibility is set to Catalog, Search.

Hope that helps!

I’ve found the same thing when importing.  Rather than open each product individually, try doing a bulk update on the imported products (you may need to increase PHP memory limit).

A faster way of doing this is to just update the table in the database. It’s only two columns, your product id and store id (see picture below).
