How does Magento get related products to show on configurable products

I have no problem getting related, up sells and cross sells to show on all simple products but if you try and relate a product to a configurable product or a simple one that has been made from a configurable product this will not show if you can help with this please email or reply to this david@hedleyinteriors.com David

cloudquarry Total Posts: 448 Joined: 2008-11-19 Ignore user	You have to set up the related products to hang off of the main configurable product sku—not the individual simple product ones.
