--There doesn’t appear to be any link to the front-end from the admin side, ala Wordpress’ “view site”.  It’s a little thing, but makes a difference. I suppose this could be added into a default template?

--Consolidate the product information “tabs” (for want of another term)?  It adds several layers of clicks on to the product creation process that don’t appear necessary or logical to me as an end-user. For example, why not integrate the product price field into the “general” tab? The stores tab could also be added into the general tab.

Regarding tabs: edit your attribute sets, move attributes around - attribute groups are the tabs in product edit view.
