Why does it say “install” when it should say “frontend”?

I’m trying to work through “Quick Exercises to Get You Started.”

I finally got the Template Hint to work, and it does show “frontend/default/default/template/checkout/cart/sidebar.phtml”

Why can’t I find a directory called “frontend”?

Mine reads “app/design/install/default/default...”

I’m looking for a document called “checkout.xml”, but in my “layout” directory there’s only one file “main.xml”

Nevermind.

The problem sorted itself out. I was in the process of having my website switched over to a server that has php5.
When I was in limbo between old and new servers (DNS propagation) it was acting all weird.

Now that the dust has settled on the new server, I’m finally ready to flood this board with stupid questions.
