I’d also like to state that I’m running into a problem with running the installation wizard in Step Five (I’ve already gotten through step 1-4 without a hitch). I get to the first page of Installation
/shop/install.php
Click on Agree to the terms and Conditions. But when I click on the Continue button, the next URL looks like this
(from root) /shop/index.php/install/wizard/beginPost/
and the only thing that shows is “No input file specified.” Is that how the URL should look?

I did modify the RewriteBase /shop/ in the .htaccess file

Everything verifies that the settings are correct for Magento. Installing v1.8.0.0 on GoDaddy hosting, PHP5.3

Hello,

Please, provide us with the content of the log file, because it will help us to find out the reason why the error appears.

As I’m new to this, what log file are you referring to? I’m more of a designer than a programmer.

Hello,

We need to look through the log files of the server, but not log files of Magento. They are usually located in /etc/httpd/logs/error_log or /usr/local/apache/logs or /var/log/apache or /var/log/httpd. You can make it clear contacting your host provider.
