Dear Magento friends,

General information about our Magento:
Magento version: 1.7.0.2 // Theme: Hellowired // Website: http://www.bewaking365.nl

We have migrated our Magento webshop to another server (from shared hosting on windows with php to a vps with ubuntu and php5). Now we noticed that some product images are not loading on the frontend (category list, product page, shopping cart and so on). The images appears with a broken image icon. Example as it doesnt work: http://www.bewaking365.nl/index.php/complete-systemen/set-met-8-camera-s.html

We have tried the following;
- Incrased the memory on php.ini to 128M
- Renamed the current /media/catalog/product/cache to _cache and manually created a new cache folder
- Empty Cache from Magento Backend (also flushed media and javascript)
- Checked if the images are correctly uploaded and radio button is checked at the backend -> Article
- Put all folders on 775 to check if it’s a permission issue

Unfortunatly none of the above tryouts worked for us. We hope that you can help us solving this issue

Hi,
You have set the media folder permission to 777 not 755. And 777 permission works recursively. So newly created folder also get that permission automatically when it is created.

Hope this will help you.

Hi, datamok.
Have you ever found your way out? I wonder whether it was the problem of the image viewer? How about
building a 3rd party image viewer with the help of some manual imaging tools which can be customized by users according to our own favors to help show and display images these days. You can also google it and select one whose way of processing is simple and fast to help you with the related work. Remember to check its free trial package first if possible. I hope you success. Good luck.

Best regards,
Arron
