I would love to achive a date format like: 2009. May 28. so “%Y. %B d.” format.
how can i achieve it in a template? i found sg like
$this->formatDate($_review->getCreatedAt()), 'long')
but there is nothing long in it, it’ s just like 2009.05.28.
do i miss setting up sg?

sander010587 - 01 December 2010 02:38 PM I use this:
Mage::helper(’core’)->formatDate($invoice->getCreatedAt(), ‘medium’, false)
medium changing to long would give your desired result?
Thanks! This worked for me.
