adi,

please, stop giving excuses and start giving some solutions, please?

I’m on 1.1.6 and the images uploaded fine, Completed. But it doesn’t show up afterward, hence I can’t select them as Base/Thumb/Small image. It just doesn’t show up.

I imported around 6,000 products.  The first few attempts, most of the images would not import.  The product was imported successful, but no images.

What I had to do was reduce the image size down to less than about 100k for each image.

After that, all of the images of my 6,,000 products imported.

This is with version 1.1.4 and 1.1.6.

@douzie and alexallied: did you check the permissions on media folder? setting it to 777 has worked to a large number of users with this issue.

Hello,

We are suffering from the same issue we are unable to upload any picture to a product. Sometimes it throws us out of the admin area, sometimes it just says please wait and hangs.

I have changed the chmod to 777 on the media file, we have tried changing the PHP code (as suggested by other threads) and changed them back as they don’t seem to work.

We have tried to upload on all types of browsers, so i don’t think this is the issue.  We have two sites in development both on crucial hosting (who are set up for magento) and both sites suffer from the same issue.

One site was uploaded by Crucial and one by us, so out inability to set Magento, shouldn’t be part of the problem.

We are about to loose it!

Please Help as we are on a deadline.

Hi.

I managed to fix this problem by creating the directory and changing it on my php.ini (w2003/IIS6 installation)
