Hi,
I would like to put inside the “logo” h1 the store name specified in the store backend.
Any hint?

Thanks

Hi,

Try putting <?php echo $this->getTitle() ?> into the description for the image, which is in app/code/design/skin/skin/page/html/header.phtml. Good luck!

Thanks, but I think this is not what I’m looking for.
This is what I need:
I put a Store Name in the System/Manage Stores section of the admin panel, and i want it displayed in place of the store logo.

Wouldn’t it be easiest to just place the name (hard-coded) in the skin of the store then? Location is the one I posted earlier. In that case, you can also make it up nicely with the store-specific CSS.

I have multiple instances of magento running, and new instances can be created automatically with a server script on request.
I pass the store name to the script that creates a simple prefilled magento DB and activate the new store. This way the store name in the frontend header must be taken from the magento db and cannot be hard-coded :(

Any idea?
