Hey All.

I’m trying to install Magento on my web host. However like many other I have run into the old “pdo_mysql” problem . Now iv been though the forums with no luck. So I emailed my Host
http://www.webcity.com.au and asked about getting pdo_mysql installed. I got an email with a replay to the effect of:
“we cant do this on the fly” – what ever the F### that means.

Which brings me to my Question. is there any SMALL possibility that I can get this running on my host?!?!?

This is the best software I have seen in a long time and I have used
Os commerce for 3 years and every other e-commerce software on the face of the earth.

im installing at liver.sabsolutions.com.au

thanks.

You could always try CGI solution:
http://www.magentocommerce.com/knowledge-base/entry/installing-magento-on-a-php4-server

Your hosting should be able to help with /cgi-bin/ location where you should upload the file in the article.
