On adding a product, and in various other places, my browser shows a pop-up:

Adobe Flash Player 9
Where is the debugger or host application running?
x Localhost
x Other Machine
_ Enter IP address

The x’s are checkboxes, the _ is a text input field

If cancelled you get a msgbox “A connection to the debugger or profiler could not be established...”

Erm, what is this? Only started with 0.8.17240.

The same thing happened to me. I actually caught the error when I was checking out the new demo store admin. I’m not sure why the new version would be throwing that error, but I was able to get rid of it by downloading and reinstalling adobe flash player v9

Thanks for the heads-up. Just got back from the demo store. Get the same pop-up there too, like you said. I’ll put a Flash 9 install on stand-by.

Q: Anyone know what Flash is doing at this point?

There is an object written in Flash used to handle multiple image uploads. In case of having problems please just update your Flash Player to the up-to-date version from Adobe.
