Magento

I have decided that the theming / coding required to theme magento is way over my head, and not worth the effort, at least at the current time

Can anyone recommend a different ecommerce solution that might be easier to theme / customize?

I’ll probably come back to magento later when its not in beta, but right now the customizing code and lack of documentation is just a huge mess

In fact, virtually everything available as a bundled product (and almost certainly everything free) is much worse than magento, except one written by yourself. Magento is not that bad to customize even without docs - but it would be wise to wait for stable release indeed.

what i found online that lead me to magneto in the first place kind of indicated that :(

i was hoping someone had better google skills than i or was more knowledgeable about the industry and maybe there was something i didn’t know about out there.

i’ll just be patient, its not like there is a timeline on my project anyways thankfully
