I’ve been trying to look for information about the issuing of order tracking numbers.
The way my operation will be set up:
-Orders will be sent to the backend, where our warehousing department will review the order to make sure payment is received, then
-Orders will be processed using an external shipping outlet (more specifically a UPS store we own)
All shipping charges will be billed to the customer at checkout (hence they will be close estimates) and I will pay our UPS store separately.
The question is: How do customers receive tracking numbers for their orders this way?
How is the default shipping logistical system set up by Magento from start to finish (from order processing to tracking numbers and such)?
