Hi All

I was after some documentation on the programming of magento.

Ideally, after some documentation on the API (has this been released yet?) and how to create modules.

Does such a thing exist? Can’t find it on the site. Are you guys just working it out from the source code and working it out from there?

At this moment there isnt much official documentation. The Magento team promises some documentation within the next quarter. Until then, the majority of the documentation can be found on the forums. First, I recommend reading the design guide. Then, study the UML Architecture diagrams. After that, the best you will find is in the forums. Here are some links that I have found useful.

Thanks tman_f.  Those were very useful links in absence of formal documentation.  I remember seeing somewhere a breakdown of the directory structure with general description.  If you happened to know the link to that page, please post.  Thanks.
