Hello.
Simple question but cant seem to find the answer in boxes.css or reset.css
I want to change the roll over font colour and main font colour for the mainnavigation in the header and also want to change the font color of the footer links such as contact us etc.

Thanks in advance

Rob

this should help, from boxes.css with my notes The bottom is two classes
footer. informational and
footer. legality
you can change your own a and a:hover I just kept the same.

.footer .informational a, .footer .informational a:hover { color:#ff9900; }
/*this one line ^ controls the two lines of Contact us etc color and hover*/

.footer .informational a { text-decoration:none; }
.footer .legality {
padding:13px 0;
color:#6699ff; /*this one line controls both bottom lines Keep magento healthy and reg trademark.*/
text-align:center;
}

.footer .legality a, .footer .legality a:hover { color:#6699ff; }
/*this one line ^ controls the ONLY the 2 words Report Bugs both link and hover*/

Recommendation, helps a lot if you get:

Firefox’s Webdeveloper build and firebug

you can “right click” and inspect the elements and know what page, what line to edit and what properties.

Very helpful for visual and placement adjustments within Magento.

Yes I have been using that too, since hez, aka Heather told me about it. Its great. Though sometimes it seems to lead to nowhere, probably just me not understaning it enough. but sometimes the css it shows seems to have nothing to do with what I havd “inspected"” and/or it has no color parms defined, stuff like that.  Just my weakness with CSS most likely.  But I HAVE found it to be very helpful nevertheless, most the time its spot on.  Points your nose in the right direction.
