I’m having an issues with Paypal Standard and shipping. I don’t know if I’ve got it set up wrong or if it’s some type of bug. I have Paypal standard set up with the following settings:

1. Payment Action: sale
2. Type: IPN
3. Transaction Type: Individual Item

When the order goes to the paypal page, instead of the shipping amount underneath the items, there is some strange text like this:
xxxBASE64_STARTxxxU2hpcHBpbmcgYW5kIEhhbmRsaW5nIChSb3lhb (I didn’t post the whole line because I don’t know if there is a security issue)

This only happens when using a flat rate shipping, but it’s shows normally with free shipping.

Does anyone know what might be the issue here?

Ok, I also noticed that this weird line of code shows as another item in paypal, not under shipping.

Please post the data which was posted to paypal so we can take a look at the issue.
You can get the post data by turning on Debug flag from admin and check in “paypal_api_debug” table.

Oh, thanks for looking at it Lindy. I’m sorry I missed this. I didn’t get the notification. We upgraded the site to 1.0 and are still having the same issue.
