I’m planning on going there on Thursday, most of the day. Anyone else?

Not to mention flight delays wink

I did a same day round trip to Dusseldorf last November and stepped in my suit straight into a horizontal-snow-blizzard. Hope you have more luck!

I just noticed they finally updated the speakers’ agenda. Good to see Zend talking on performance etc.

I’ll be there Thursday afternoon and hopefully a couple of our guys will be there on Tuesday too. Give me a shout if you fancy a chat or a coffee.

Hi JT

We were there yesterday and hopefully tomorrow - yes its was good, the seminars / presentations that we attended were all full up and there was a lot of interesting debate and topics.

Got to meet a few faces to names which is always good ;0)

if you have’nt already i would think the online pass would be worth while.

thoughts - anyone else?

I went yesterday, didn’t need any passes, plenty of room in the seminar suite.

If there was anything very worthwhile to be learned at the Mage:Camp part, for me it was the Zend Server presentation. What an amazing performance boost that will give Magento, at £85 a month/a grand a year, well worth it. In 10 minutes he showed how to go from 0.5 requests per second on a default Apache install (granted, on a crappy laptop) to 91 RPS. That will blow all my other tweaks that barely gained anything right out of the water. Caching of pages like that makes total sense and I love how easy it is to set up. No need to mess about with Magento code, Zend Server takes care of it.

Yoav’s presentation on the Enterprise Edition was interesting too, it gave me confidence about the future of the Community Edition.

I’ve not spent much time on the Mage Pavilion as I had to suss out other topics in the rest of the hall.

All in all well worth visiting.
