Magento

Hosting and DNS issues are not my forte, but I’ve gotten to the point where I have to figure out a few things.  I’ve set up 2 websites on the same Magento installation with 2-3 store views each (yea), and now I’d like to make sure they each have their own domain name, not the base URL with a parameter (e.g. “www.company.co.uk” not “www.company.com/?store=uk").

Has anyone managed to get this working?  Is this something that is set in the “SystemConfiguration” area of the admin system or more a hosting/apache server configuration?  Both?  Neither?  Thoughts?

in Admin > System > Configuration > Web - choose your website in left top corner and set both Secure and Unsecure Base URLs:

If you do not have SSL certificate installed yet, use http:// in both

I did this but this messes with styles, images and product images.

My product images are not displaying they are trying to pull from the images from the new domain.

How do I fix this?

you must set also the address of the folder under design tab
