Need some help with the settings for the new Checkout by Amazon system! I see the new folders and files under /app/code/core/Mage/AmazonPayments, just not sure how to use them.

On the Amazon site, under “Checkout Pipeline Settings,” there are some URLs that need to be added, much like PayPal. Could really use some direction with setting these:

- Successful Payment Return URL

Under “Instant Order Processing Notification Settings:”

- Merchant URL

Then, in Magento Admin, System --> Configuration --> Sales --> Payment Methods --> Checkout by Amazon:

- What is ”Merchant Tocken” - what should go there?

Thanks!

I couldn’t find any documentation either so I looked at the amazon payments controller.

How I set mine up based up the source was as follows:

Successful Payment URL - https://mystore.com/cba/success
Cancel Payment URL; - https://mystore.com/cba/cancel
Your Account Return URL - https://mystore.com/customer/account
Merchant URL - https://mystore.com/cba/notification
Integrator URL - https://mystore.com/cba/callback

For your Merchant Token, login to sellercentral.amazon.com Click Settings->Account Info
and it’s listed on the very bottom of that page.

I haven’t tested this so I can’t confirm it works.

Thank you glabs! Will use these settings and try it out in the Sandbox.

Side note, thought maybe “Tocken” was suppose to be “Token!”

Much appreciated!

I have found the configuration settings within Amazon Seller Central.
Log into Amazon Seller Central and click Settings->Checkout Pipeline Settings.
Set the following:
Successful Payment Return URL: https://YOURSTORE.COM/amazonpayments/cba/success
Cancel Payment Return URL: https://YOURSTORE.COM/amazonpayments/cba/cancel
Your Account Return URL: https://YOURSTORE.COM/amazonpayments/customer/account (this setting is ignored by Amazon)
Language Encoding: UTF-8
Shopping Cart Security: Enabled

Merchant URL: https://YOURSTORE.COM/amazonpayments/cba/notification
Integrator URL: https://YOURSTORE.COM/amazonpayments/cba/callback

Order Report Type: XML
Order Report Schedule: Every hour

I hope this helps.

It’s not just me that it doesn’t work for?  I have asked on the forums before, and never got a response that anyone else was experiencing issues.

No, my orders placed via CBA do not download into Magento. Amazon tech support says that everything that should happen on to their side to pass the information is happening.

The only way I even knew it was possible is that one order out of I-don’t-know-how-many actually showed up in my Magento backend.  There was nothing to differentiate that order from all the others.

I *really* wish it would work correctly.

Amazon told me the same everything from their end is happening and the issue is on this end ... i am trying to figure out if the issue is with magento or my server ...

If you get any resolution, would you mind please posting back with the fix?  I’ll do the same. smile

It appears that they fixed it in the 1.4 alpha release or at least it is in the release notes.
Fixed #15085: Amazon CBA are not returning orders to the magento

Here’s hoping for a wiki explanation to a fix to this as well. I really need this before alpha is going to make it through the release cycles. I’ve downloaded alpha and looked over the bug, but I’m not exactly sure where the problem lies. Hopefully it’s a small patch.

OK everyone, I did a diff on the alpha files and on the current release and I found a simple change that solves the problem.

Open this file…
app/code/core/Mage/AmazonPayments/Model/Payment/Cba.php

Search for this code (line 449 for me)…
$quote->setIsActive(false);
$quote->save();

Add the following right before the previous code…
$order->save();

That did it for me. It’s working in the sandbox and in the live website. Boy am I glad that was such a simple fix!

Hello,

Did you have any luck setting up Checkout by Amazon? I am getting the following error in amazon checkout console..

Error Type: OrderCalculationCallbacks

Error Code: ResponseSchemaValidationError-Fallback

Message: The OrderCalculationsResponse could not be validated. Details: The XML could not be validated against the schema [cvc-complex-type.2.4.b: The content of element ‘OrderCalculationsResponse’ is not complete. One of ‘{"http://payments.amazon.com/checkout/2008-11-30/":Response}’ is expected.]. However, default calculations will be applied as the ProcessOrderOnCallbackFailure tag is set.

Order is transferring to Magento but without email address. Also, probably due to no email, i am getting no options to process the order. i’m seeing.. Edit, Cancel, Hold.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks.
