Is there a way to view cron activity history in the admin, or is there a log file being stored somewhere?

If you’re still interested in this… here is how I added a simple log file that would show me the last date and time my cron.php file was ran.

No, cron history can’t be viewed in admin. You run an external script that parses the cron log. Already been taken care of here. Set your time to keep completed jobs and errors to 1440 minutes to get a 24 hour snapshot.

Hi,

Take a look at the Magento Erros Extension. It shows Cron log, List of cron jobs, 404 Page requests and also list of the error reports.
