SSL secured page: markup broken

Hello all,

I’m working on a webshop and need to use SSL for customer related information (login, checkout). I selected the root (/) directory to be using SSL. The SSL url is reachable via https://*.ssl.eatserver.nl

In the admin panel at system -> web -> secure -> base url I entered https://*.ssl.eatserver.nl (where * is the shopname, but it’s irrelevant) and leave the rest of the options the same.

The problem is when I open a secured page (login, checkout) the markup is all gone. I can see the header image, but i have a white background, times new roman black coloured font and so on.

Does anyone know how to solve this?

Thanks!

No one a solution or workaround?

I don’t get a message of mixed secure and insecure items on the page. Is it possible that the base unsecure and secure webpage must be the same, ie:

http://www.example.com
https://www.example.com

instead of
http://www. example.com
https://example.ssl.eatserver.nl
