Unable to edit styles.css of a custom theme

Hi there,

We had some developers/designers/programmers design and set up our store recently. I’m now trying to edit the styles.css file of our theme but am having no such luck doing so. When I edit from the FTP client / try to upload the edited file, it says “Error -160: Could not start data transfer.” The read/write permissions are fine (I’m able to edit other css files with no problem), but the “Owner” number is different on this css file than the rest (1026 instead of 1066 like the rest). I’m guessing this has something to do with it. Anything I could do to bypass/change this so I can just edit a couple pixels on our storefront? I’ve included a screenshot of the read/write/owner settings.

Thanks.
