I have two copy’s of 0.8.16100 running.  My original upgraded version which has 4 stores and a populated data base.  Since I have some bugs in my data base I choose to do a fresh install on new web server location.  I have added 4 stores to the stores configuration and expected the “store switcher” to appear after in the header.  I don’t see any visible “store switcher” so thought I would stop and ask what I was doing wrong.

The switcher does appear as expected in my original upgraded website.  Any hints??

Well, I have to admit to being totally confused on what controls the positioning and population of the store switcher blocks.  I have now got two sets of switcher blocks, one in the header where I want it, and one in the footer.  They have different stores in them and make absolutely no sense to my feeble mind what is controlling that positioning.  view page at ultra-ion.us

Would someone at Magento please explain how one moves the “store switcher” from the footer to the header using the store manager in the backend.

pdazzler.com has the “store switcher” in the header and it was located there automatically when I upgraded to latest version.

ultra-ion.us has the store switcher located in the footer.  I have loaded magento and fresh data bases several times.  One time I had a partial “store switcher” in each location (header & footer). 

Please explain the secret to moving the switcher from the footer to the header using the store manager interface in the backend.
