Hi all,
I was configuring a grouped product ‘C’ with products ‘A’ and ‘B’ grouped under it. I search for this product on front end and was happy to see A and B grouped together.
Now I go to the backend and update Product A as ‘Out of Stock’. I come back to the front end and search for the grouped product ‘C’ and observe that both products are displayed on the grouped product which is actually ok (It would be better to show the ‘Out of Stock’ product as disabled or ‘Out of Stock’).
Now currently I am a guest user and when I ‘Add to cart’, nothing gets added to the cart and it takes me to a continue shopping page. If I create a customer account and login, I am able to add the grouped product to my cart and now see that the ‘Out of Stock’ product is not added to the cart which is actually confusing to the user as nowhere in the flow do we mention that the second product is Out of Stock.
Has anyone else observed this?
