Assume I’ve got a manufacture attribute with a value of Adidas.

In the URL slug I’d like it to write out the manufacturer’s name in the URL such that:

http://127.0.0.1:8888/truckerdeluxe/mens-shoes/skate/test-superskate-slip.html

becomes:

http://127.0.0.1:8888/truckerdeluxe/mens-shoes/skate/adidas-test-superskate-slip.html

Any thoughts on how to accomplish this WITHOUT creating a manufacturer category?

Thanks!

bumping this - I would also like to have the cart add the manufacturer (if present) to the URL. There must be a way of programming this in instead of editing thousands of product urls manually?

You can just modify the URL key in the DB.

You can just modify the URL key in the DB.

Is there a command to update each url key with what’s present in the manufacturer field?
