So far Magento seems easily customizable but I can’t seem to figure out why there is no previous item next item in detail view.
I’ve set up a few simple products which are part of a root category. Is there something else I need to do? I’ve seen that some of the Magento samples don’t have this functionality but they should.
The extension is simple yet powerful and works well both for categories and for search results (simple and advanced), It also supports dynamic variables in the previous-next-back links, like {category}, {price}, etc. And can even shows thumbnails of the next previous products on mouse over.
What is absolutely cool, is that Previous-Next Navigation module has been designed with performance optimization in mind and adds close to noting server resources usage.
