I am trying to import sample data to my database but it will import only 4 tables and than give me a error:

Error

SQL query:

CREATE TABLE `catalog_category_entity` (
`entity_id` int( 10 ) unsigned NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT ,
`entity_type_id` smallint( 8 ) unsigned NOT NULL default ‘0’,
`attribute_set_id` smallint( 5 ) unsigned NOT NULL default ‘0’,
`parent_id` int( 10 ) unsigned NOT NULL default ‘0’,
`store_id` smallint( 5 ) unsigned NOT NULL default ‘0’,
`created_at` datetime NOT NULL default ‘0000-00-00 00:00:00’,
`updated_at` datetime NOT NULL default ‘0000-00-00 00:00:00’,
`is_active` tinyint( 1 ) unsigned NOT NULL default ‘1’,
PRIMARY KEY ( `entity_id` ) ,
KEY `FK_catalog_category_ENTITY_ENTITY_TYPE` ( `entity_type_id` ) ,
KEY `FK_catalog_category_ENTITY_STORE` ( `store_id` ) ,
CONSTRAINT `FK_CATALOG_CATEGORY_ENTITY_TREE_NODE` FOREIGN KEY ( `entity_id` ) REFERENCES `catalog_category_tree` ( `entity_id` ) ON DELETE CASCADE ON UPDATE CASCADE
) ENGINE = InnoDB DEFAULT CHARSET = utf8 COMMENT = ‘Category Entityies’;

MySQL said: Documentation
#1005 - Can’t create table ‘./mydomains_zamecnicke/catalog_category_entity.frm’ (errno: 150)

I found the solution:

you must import .sql file using console comand (in linux) like: mysql -u <user> -p <pass>, after:  mysql> source /path to/magento_sample_data_for_0.8.17240.sql

After that clear all the magento cache from folder /var/cache/ also /var/sessions/!
smile
