Hi all

This solution should work if updated magento from previous version and clearing cache doesn’t help

1. Download magenot 1.3.0 package
2. Copy/update the following files from full package to yours:

app/design/adminhtml/default/default/layout/admin.xml
app/design/adminhtml/default/default/layout/catalog.xml
app/design/adminhtml/default/default/layout/customer.xml
app/design/adminhtml/default/default/layout/sales.xml

Regards

Genius! wink

This was my issue too, then it broke with the connect manager.

Turns out the issue was the .htaccess file. I had to remove the # before the code allowing php5 (right up the top of the file).
This worked for my site5 shared hosting.

WIN!

Hello,

I’ve updated the files mentionned here + emptied var/cache…
But it seams all javascript is frozen.... Menu not working on both frontend and backend, and zoom on frontend is not working either. Very weird…

Did you by chance modify your admin template?
One of my problems was that I had another theme for the admin but Magento modified the default one, so some new things were not found in my custom theme…

An even easier solution is to install ‘magento-core/Mage_All_Latest’ via the Extension manager, which will update all these packages.

Well, this didn´t work for me.

I am guessing there is a problem of file permission though, just like the same problem happened in a previous version of Magento.

I have deleted the content of the Var/Cache folder ( I can´t access the system cache page due to the nav links problem)
I have uploaded the 4 files.

The resulting file permission are 644 for the uploaded files and 666 for the remaining ones.
But on antoher install of Magento (1.2), I have all these file to 644.

Even changing all files to 644 woulndn´t change anything.
