Hi,

It depends on your needs.
Take a look at ‘how multiple sites work’ documentation.

No, in your situation, you don’t need (and you shouldn’t) to install several Magento. This would be a waste of time.
You set one installation and use multiple websites that share products.

ok thanks

still 2 questions

we have 3 different websites and 1 company-website would it be useful to install magneto on the company website ?
what about google ?
there is a possibility that within the next month, we open a web-store in Germany (all our stores are based in the Netherlands)

Could these be a problem for google. when a customer searches he has the option “search option only pages from GERMANY”
and our server is in the Netherlands , I’m afraid that in that case visitor’s do not see my website

thanks

turnon - I think (If I understand you correctly and assuming you want to install Magento once on one server) that the best way to setup Magento in your case is to install Magento on the domain you want to run the admin of all your stores. Then, I would create the other websites you want these can have different domains and URL’s.

Thanks

yoav
