I’ve created categories and a product for a category and that showed up fine.  I took the next step and duplicated that product, changed image ,name , description , and sku but still only the first one I created shows up.  I created the 2nd product in the same category.

Any suggestions?

I should have said they both are not showing up on the front end, they appear in the product list in the backend just fine.

first of all check if your categories and products are active/enabled. secondly, make sure you’re creating your products/categories in the right store view (the default is ‘english’ store)

Yes, both enabled and in the same store.  They are exactly the same except for Product Name, description, image and price
