I sell a product with many different attributes and attribute options. each permutation of these attribute options is a different sku for me so configurable products works perfectly for me with the exception of price. There is no way for me to assign a fixed or percentage price to each attribute, which seems to be my only option. The only way for this to work for me would be if the price could be derived from the simple product that matched all the attribute options the customer selected.
Yes, i too am looking for this. One of the developers said on a post a while back that this would be fixed but i dont see it in the latest trunk. It would make managing my configurable products much much easier.
If the price were to come from the simple product, there should be an option for it, like there is for the image.
I don’t track inventory, so my simple products are just for holding attributes such as size. I don’t want the price to come from the simple product because it has none!
