To my knowledge, the default checkout process setup has following steps:
1. Checkout Method
2. Billing Information
3. Shipping Information
4. Shipping Method
5. Payment Information
6. Order Review
and then Thank you page.
However, I would like to customize this process as below:
1. Sign In (Checkout Method )
2. Shipping (Billing Information, Shipping Information, Shipping Method)
3. Payment (Payment Information, Order Review)
4. Confirmation (Thank you page)
This is to reduce the no of steps and to integrate the steps in to fewer.
Can anyone suggest me how to start on this? I’m using my own custom theme and design.
