Magento’s default customer login is based upon e-mail and password.
Our shop is connected to an ERP (BusinessBase) and existing customers are injected/imported in magento.
I used the attribute manager (add-on) to create an new attribute (debtor number) for the customer.
Is is possible to let our customers login with their debtor number instead of their e-mail? What do I have to change to make this work?
this seems to exactly what I’m looking for. But somehow I’m not able to get it working. I copied the folder ââ¬Åcustomerââ¬Â into ââ¬Åcommunityââ¬Â and changed the entitys (loginname) in the files to the ones I had added to my database.
Can someone give me a hint what I am doing wrong here?
